A service working in partnership with the Probation Service Yorkshire and Humber to provide secure, appropriate accommodation to people on probation who present as homeless, in an effort to reduce reintegrate into the community and reduce reoffending.
HAP works with Offender Managers to source housing and offers support in personal development and independent living skills to people on probation.

Who is this service for?
The Hull and East Riding Accommodation Project (HAP) is a service working in partnership with the Probation Service Yorkshire and Humber that supports people on probation who are experiencing homelessness. HAP aims to source and deliver well-supported accommodation to enable reintegration into the community and reduce the committing of further offences.
HAP provides secure and appropriate accommodation from the Humbercare portfolio as well as support with set up, moving in, and the necessary skills to maintain the accommodation. Additionally, HAP establishes the support required to maintain personal health, safety, well-being, and security, develops independent living skills, and promotes social inclusion.
HAP increases the availability of housing for people on probation. This partnership allows Humbercare to work with Offender Managers to source suitable and appropriate accommodation in accordance with choice and need while assisting the process of risk management.
